Seems only right that a writer has insomnia, and seems a good way to start my blag.
The world of writing is actually a mystery. Rather, the professional world. One day I might join those ranks, but for now it's a diary of trying to get there.
This year and last, were competition efforts. Collider and Red Star have been submitted to Blue Cat, nextTV, Scriptapalooza, LA Screenplay, Big Break and Shoreline... possibly another but I've slightly lost track...
Moving onto letters to agencies; got a lovely rejection letter from Luke at marjacq, who requires a film credit before contemplating new writers. Waiting for Sara at VH Associates, who sounds a bit more receptive - first of many in my new campaign trail - bombard 'em with requests! Someone might read my stuff!?
Meanwhile, to edit Red Star. Version 20 at the last count & I'm still not 100% happy. Think my WPS officer is too much on the sidelines so I'm wondering if I need to beef up her appearances.
Right, enough with the blagging, I'm off to write.
