SO I'm on a small Greek Island, in a small family restaurant...balmy, happy evening... nearby a family celebration in another restaurant - a live, Greek-folky band playing, people dancing in the street.

An English, ex- skinhead (mashed up nose, almost vanished hair-line still trying to be shaved) is watching England V Sweden in Euro 2012

England scores and he starts bellowing "Come On Enlgand"
Sweden scores -  he stays quiet while a Swedish couple clap quietly.
England equalises & Skinhead goes to the Swedish table & SHOUTS "Fuck off" in their faces...

I was so angry & embarrassed - I went to the loo & on my way back told them, earnestly & emphatically, that I hoped Switzerland won.

I am such a knob! I don't watch footy - I bloody hate it! I was trying to be... Oh, I hope I don't see them tomorrow as I'll obvioulsy make things worse, trying to explain ...Er, Weather's nice here tho.
