Maddie the Detective

When Maddie rescues a baby dolphin and is rewarded for her kindness with a magical gift which enables her to talk to animals, she soon learns that there is a fantasy world which exists right alongside our own.

Word soon gets round that she's great at solving problems, and her help is sought by dragons, fairies, mermaids, monsters and even humans. But just around the corner are the nightmare monsters who pop up in the most ordinary of places.

Maddie is always assisted by her constant companion, Tyson the Chihuahua, and occasionally by Simon the seagull.
